All Seasons Iced Tea

Because iced tea doesn’t only belong in the summer.

what you need:

large pitcher or jar

5-6 bags of your favorite tea (green tea or ginger works great)

3-5 in of ginger root (skin removed)

honey

bunch of mint

what you do:

steep tea in your jar/pitcher using hot water for 30 mins. In the meantime, roughly chop ginger and add to a blender with 1/4 cup of water. Blend on high, then strain juice using a fine mesh strainer or cheese cloth.

Once tea has steeped, remove bags and add ginger juice, 3 heaping tbsp of honey, and a handful of mint leaves. Stir well to combine. Chill in the refrigerator. Serve over ice with more mint leaves.
