Aunt Frances’ Chocolate Icing

what you need:

1/3 cup cup cocoa powder

3 tbsp cornstarch

1 1/3 cup sugar

1/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 cup whole milk

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp vanilla

what you do:

Mix cocoa, cornstarch, sugar, salt, and milk in a sauce pan. Heat over medium and cook until thick, whisking constantly to avoid clumping (20-30 mins). Add butter and vanilla. Cool completely before icing your cake.
